Total of 31 positions will be open for hiring from 8 companies during the Expo period (August 25-27, 2014)
after conducting job interviews -

□ The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea (Minister: H.E. Mr. Suh Seoung-hwan) announced that it will operate a talent employment pavilion inside the 2014 Smart Geospatial Expo exhibition hall. At the Pavilion, interviews for prospective job seekers will take place, participated by companies in the geospatial information industry that are eager for superior talents in the job market.

Planned to hire people for 31 positions at 8 geospatial information companies, the Pavilion is open to anyone who is interested in participation. Those who would like to sign up simply need to visit the Pavilion's website (http://smartgeoexpojob.incruit.com) to fill out registrations.

□ The Pavilion will be operated based on informative sessions for providing necessary details to those job seekers interested in the geospatial field. It aims to match the job seeker's professional backgrounds with those sought out by participating companies, be it the employment conditions or ideal traits expected of entering employees at each of the companies.

For this reason, those who signed up for participation will be provided with a pre-consultation meeting with expert consultants assigned to them individually, a process installed to facilitate the job interviews that will take place during the 2014 Smart Geospatial Expo period (August 25-27, 2014).

□ Also, a separate pavilion much related to the Talent Employment Pavilion will be set up, which is called the Consulting Pavilion. At this Consulting Pavilion, various tips and know-how necessary at each stages of a job interview process will be provided, such as image-making tips, interview question answering techniques, and writing skills for drafting resumes and cover letters.

□ A MOLIT official relevant to this event commented, "The Talent Employment Pavilion aims to provide tailor-made hiring services for the benefit of both companies and job seekers. MOLIT thus hopes that prospective geospatial information talents in Korea will take part in this event with much enthusiasm."
